Terms of Service

Welcome to the Whdigo Quantum-Resistant Vault. By using our encryption software, whether in offline mode or via our optional synchronization services, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

1. Nature of the Service

Whdigo is a zero-knowledge, client-side encryption tool provided as a Progressive Web App (PWA). It allows users to encrypt credentials, keys, and data locally using Argon2id and AES-256-GCM algorithms. The software functions primarily in an offline environment.

2. Zero-Knowledge & No Data Recovery

We cannot recover your password or your data. Whdigo operates on a strict zero-knowledge architecture. Your Master Password and unencrypted data never leave your device. If you lose your Master Password, or if you lose your backup files (fragments), your data is permanently irretrievable. Whdigo administrators have no backdoor access.

3. Optional Server Synchronization ("Blind Relay")

If you utilize the optional server synchronization feature, you acknowledge that the server acts solely as a "blind relay." The server stores only encrypted ciphertext (blobs) and has no means to decrypt, view, or index your stored information. You retain full ownership and exclusive control of the decryption keys.

4. User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Safeguarding your Master Password.
• maintaining secure backups of your vault data (JSON files or Fragments).
• Ensuring the physical security of the device accessing the vault.

5. Software Provided "As Is"

This software is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied. While we utilize military-grade standard algorithms (Argon2id, AES-256-GCM), no software is entirely immune to all potential future vulnerabilities or hardware failures.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Whdigo or its developers be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the software or the use or other dealings in the software, including data loss caused by forgotten passwords.

7. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Whdigo application constitutes acceptance of these revised terms.
